A la nostra zona, la pluviometria fins a la tardor va ser molt escassa, fet que se sumava a la sequera persistent dels dos anys anteriors. Aix\u00f2 va fer que, en condicions de sec\u00e0, el desenvolupament de les plantes fos m\u00e9s de resist\u00e8ncia que de productivitat. A m\u00e9s, la gla\u00e7ada de la nit del 23 d\u2019abril va afectar greument els brots tendres, sobretot a les vinyes situades al fons de vall. Aquestes condicions van reduir la productivitat a un 20% de la mitjana interanual. T\u00e8rmicament, no vam avan\u00e7ar tant la verema com en les dues darreres anyades i vam allargar-la una mica m\u00e9s: va tenir lloc entre el 21 d\u2019agost i el 8 d\u2019octubre. Collim el ra\u00efm manualment i el premsem amb el gran sencer i la rapa. El 65% del most fermenta a temperatura controlada (15-17\u00baC) en bota de roure americ\u00e0 i franc\u00e8s, amb un percentatge de fusta nova que mai supera el 15%, per respectar el car\u00e0cter varietal de la Macabeu. La crian\u00e7a es fa sobre les lies del vi durant 6-8 mesos, amb battonage setmanal per augmentar-ne el volum en boca i buscar una integraci\u00f3 m\u00e9s fina i elegant de la fusta al vi. Una altra proporci\u00f3 de most, del 25%, fermenta en dip\u00f2sit d\u2019acer inoxidable i fa una posterior crian\u00e7a de 2 mesos en dip\u00f2sit de ciment, buscant un perfil m\u00e9s tensionat, m\u00e9s volum en boca i una aroma fresca per\u00f2 sense la intervenci\u00f3 de la fusta. Subtil i elegant, sobresurten tamb\u00e9 notes florals, de flors blanques i flor de taronger i un punt de mel. En boca \u00e9s fi i equilibrat, amb una bona acidesa que li dona persist\u00e8ncia. L\u2019elaboraci\u00f3 en botes de roure de diferents volums i el treball de <em>battonage<\/em> (remenat) peri\u00f2dic, a m\u00e9s de l&#8217;experimentaci\u00f3 en nous materials com les tines de ciment, ens permet arribar a trobar aquesta expressi\u00f3 m\u00e9s pura de la Macabeu amb una aportaci\u00f3 molt equilibrada de la fusta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"label-sans-serif\">Paisatge<\/p>\n<p class=\"small-sans-serif\">Origen: Vinyes de Vallbona de les Monges, a la subzona Valls del Riu Corb de la DO Costers del Segre. Paisatges de parcel\u00b7les caracteritzades pels marges de pedra seca, que delimiten les vinyes i conserven la fertilitat dels s\u00f2ls i l\u2019efici\u00e8ncia de l\u2019aigua.<br \/>\nS\u00f2ls: S\u00f2ls argilocalcaris amb nivells de pedregositat i profunditat variables.<br \/>\nClima: El clima \u00e9s mediterrani continental, amb hiverns freds i secs i estius calorosos, dulcificats pel vent que, a les tardes, ve del mar (la marinada) i refresca les nits, sobretot durant el per\u00edode de maduraci\u00f3.
