At L\u2019Olivera, we had the opportunity to explain the work we do supporting people facing difficulties and producing sustainable olive oils and wines in Lleida and Collserola.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">L\u2019Olivera\u2019s president, Clara Griera, highlights:<\/span> <b>\u201cThe Minister\u2019s visit confirms that we are building a project that generates interest and can serve as an alternative for the territory and for dryland agriculture. It allowed us to explain how we work, why we do things the way we do, and where we want to go.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this context, we explored avenues for collaboration with the Department and shared our position regarding the three upcoming future challenges:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Addressing economic difficulties and the decline in wine consumption by improving production processes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Raising awareness about small and medium-scale farming, as well as quality products.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Highlighting the added values of dryland agriculture, such as maintaining the rural fabric, preventing wildfires and strengthening local identity.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Also present during the visit were L\u2019Olivera\u2019s director, Carles de Ahumada, and Head of Production, Pau Moragas.
