This summer, La Vinoteca opens for music with a new series of concerts, “Musical Evenings at La Vinoteca”. A new proposition that brings together the two cultures of music and wine, and that bring three musical sessions of different sytles to the Vinoteca to accompany the summer sunsets. The three sessions are by Carla Serrat, Ran, Ran, Ran and Corrandes són Corrandes.

Carla is the musical alter ego of Vic artist Carla Serrat. Since her recording debut in 2015, Serrat has given rhythm to the beats of this personal project that glides between the most modern styles of pop and the most thought-provoking electronic music. After releasing her second full-length recording, the successful “Kill a Feeling” (2019) (Enderrock Award for Best Record of the Year in other languages), she now arrives at La Vinoteca with her latest album “Reflection”, a 7-song mini-album where she remains faithful to the sonic principles that have led her to become one of the most respected electronic pop artist in the country.

Behind Ran Ran Ran we find Ferran Baucells. Risen from the ashes of Tired Hippo, Ran Ran Ran’s frontmant has moved since 2013 towards folk-pop, with influences of folk-rock and arrangements with acoustic guitar. After three albums and numerous EPs, the group arrives at La Vinoteca with their latest album “Clàssics populars”, faithful to their style and their twilight tales.

Corrandes són Corrandes are a traditional music group specialising in improvised song. They work using many aspects of traditional music, with great verve, and have been among the pioneers group performing improvised song shows. Now, they come to La Vinoteca with their production “Corrandes amb DO: in vino veritas”, a proposition that combines wine tasting with “corrandes”, exploring the connection with the vineyard and wine, involving humour, satire and the participation of the public.
