We close the poetry cycle of La Vinoteca with a final session that gives prominence to one of the new essential voices of current Catalan poetry: Laia Carbonell. The poet from Castellbisbal will bring at La Vinoteca her work Nibrós, that wins the 2019 Ciutat de Manacor Poetry Prize

After the good reception from Finlàndia (ed. Galerada), Nibrós explores an endangered rural imaginary, its people and the simplicity of raw and frank lives.

Laia Carbonell is a part of the “Massa Mare” project, promoted by Maria Cabrera, a constantly expanding digital anthology of poetry for women. Together, with Raquel Santanera and Maria Sevilla, she is currently the programmer of one of the most prestigious spaces in the field of poetry dissemination in Barcelona: L’Horiginal.

The recital will be presented and hosted by the poet Eduard Sanahuja and will begin with a welcome glass of wine to also bring the culture of wine closer to the audience.

After the recital, anyone who wishes can stay for dinner at La Vinoteca, with prior reservation at lavinoteca@olivera.org or by calling 646 619 188.
