The Can Calopa Rural Classroom is an open space dedicated to raising awareness and spreading the word about the natural and rural heritage of Collserola. We offer all kinds of educational activities on biodiversity, agroecology, rural life and social and solidarity economy.
Not only have we designed programs especially aimed at schools and educational centres, but we also offer leisure activities for families and people interested in preserving the environment of Collserola. Our goal is to publicise and raise awareness of its natural and agricultural heritage and, at the same time, reaffirm L’Olivera’s commitment to peri-urban agriculture as a driver for social transformation.
The Can Calopa Rural Classroom initiative is one more project of L’Olivera Formació,one of our areas of action to consolidate our project and, at the same time, spread the values that emerge from it.
Can Calopa for families
Here you will find fun family leisure activities so that you can discover and enjoy Can Calopa while learning about Barcelona's natural rural heritage. With agriculture, gastronomy and the natural environment always as a common denominator, we offer walks, workshops, tastings, meetings and debates for all those who are looking for leisure pursuits in a rural environment.
Schools and educational centers
Inspired by the rural context of Can Calopa, our team of educators offer different activities to introduce our social, historical, cultural and natural context while allowing students to intervene critically in the plural and complex society that surrounds us.
Volunteering
We offer different collaborative activities so that, together with the Collserola Natural Park, you can help us keep the Can Calopa estate alive. These tasks are aimed at people who are aware of the natural environment as well as companies and groups looking for Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
